CAUTION: CATCH-UP BLOG AHEAD

OK Here we go. There have been so many happenings in the last few weeks, that; #1 I didn't have time to write, download pics, think, breath, etc.

#2 You get to endure my catch-up. Loved, Loved, Loved talking to Dallin on mother's day. He made us all smile.
So...We finished the remodel. Then we had Emily's 18th birthday, but didn't have much time to celebrate. Next, we attended 9 graduation related functions (Sarah and Emily both graduated), 3 parties, wait, make that 4 with my parents 60th anniversary party on Sat. Sunday we packed up Em's backpack for a 4 day trip down the Havasupai. She left mon at 5:30 am. Now we are getting Sarah packed and ready to go to girls camp tomorrow (tues). After that, Jesse and I are going to hang out and relax together. Whew! I'm tired just from writing about it. Now for the details. Emily graduated from SHS in the top 10 of her class and received some great scholarships and awards. She was so ready to be out of High School. What is it about the last year that makes it so hard? I felt the same way when I was a senior. Sarah had her graduation ceremony from TMS. (Thatcher) She was also in the top 10 of her class. They ranked them and had a Valedictorian and Salutitorian. I didn't know that Jr. High did that. It was kind of cool. Sarah got some great awards too, but my favorite is her "Highest GPA in Manufacturing" (wood shop). What a hoot. She has made some cool pieces of furniture and other items. Emily is hiking the Havasupai with a large group of Senior girls. That's right. GIRLS! I think that is cool. I was surprised that she wanted to go again since we just went last June, but she was all over it. Sarah is leaving for her 2nd year at girls camp. She is excited. I am not involved with camp at all this year. It is kind of weird, but I like it. My daughters have had me in every aspect of their church lives forever. It will be good for them to experience some things on their own. Not that either of them ever needed me anyway. My parents 60th anniversary party was a short, sweet little program with just family. We had a buffet outside and then went to the church for the program. It was just enough so that Mom didn't get worn out. She and Dad had a great time. I guess I am done for now. Here are a few pics from the last few weeks.

Your favorite niece Rachel here. Just wanted to congratulate Emily on the graduation thing. Way to make me feel old. Any offers to go play ball somewhere? Everyone is growing up so fast - Jesse is Darrin's mini-me (does he talk in his sleep too?) and Sarah is getting so big. Glad you finally got your remodel finished and I hope you enjoy your "new" home. Tell everyone hello for me!

I need your email if I dont have it. The remodel is my parents. My mom has lung cancer and is fading fast, so Dad wanted to do all this for her. Pretty hard to swallow but we are managing. M

...physically and mentally!
