My chicks are 3 weeks old and are they
ugly.
They are getting so big that we need a bigger brooder. Yikes. Crazy week. Darrin was in LA presenting at a conference and took his computer, so no internet for me. We finished painting Dad's new bedroom and the carpet was installed on Tues. morn. Now we just have to get up the energy to move all the furniture. His new room will be beautiful. The other two rooms will both be guest rooms with multiple beds in them. Yes we are eliminating the office and painting over the sponge decorating. (sorry Amanda) The desk is going and all the files too. We are adding a crib to one of the rooms to encourage visitation. Grandpa is lonely and loves company. He has been waking with me every morning and is working on his speed and endurance. Yesterday we went 4 miles in an hour. He has a different pace at Walmart. Snail pace would be an appropriate name. The
zip line is finished and has been ridden. A LOT. Jesse is fearless and even got on it with no one else around. We quickly made that a rule. No riding alone! I even rode it. Yehaw! Addie and Kim came out to my house to see the chicks. Addie loved the trampoline instead. She is a doll.
Can't wait to see everyone at Thanksgiving.

You are correct; those chicks are not very attractive. But that Addison is so dang cute! And yes, we are all so dang excited for Thanksgiving!
I think the chicks are alright...yay for grandpa's new room! And the zip line....yay I won't be riding that any time soon! HA!
