Birthday Cake!
Darrin made Emily one of his famous birthday cakes this weekend. He went all out! We have been watching "Ace of Cakes" lately and he decided to try his hand at fondant. It worked pretty good. The cake wasn't quite strong enough to hold it up, but it was a good first try. Em wanted a star cake, so star she got. All 7 layers of it. They had a fun time constructing together. We only ate a small amount of it before it caved in. It was alright though, the fun was in the building.

Impressive! Who knew Darrin had such mad baking skills? I hope you've found your "place" literally and figuratively. Moving sure makes you feel up in the air.
